I think the power lifting fairy stopped by this week and sprinkled magical strength dust all over the barn. Both Robyn and Ariel PR'd the bench today, and Robyn PR'd the DL yesterday!
Anyone interested in competing at the Rochester Crossfit Games on July 9? It was a lot of fun last year! This year they are offering an endurance event, a strength event (Courtney?) and a combined (aka Crossfit).
Was HOT! I know a lot of you don't like it, but I love the heat! Not only am I not cold (!) but my muscles are warm and function wonderfully. Yes, it's sweaty, but who cares. Drink water to replace the fluid loss and go about your business. No matter how hot it gets, it beats shoveling the white stuff ;)
We finished our yoga session with Karen Ferner this week. We are going to take June and July off because it gets so hot upstairs, but she is interested in offering another class beginning in August. Please let Karen know if you are interested. I know I am!
I will be out of town the last week of July (25-30). Plan a week off, do vacation workouts or visit Dansville Fitness Club and subject yourself to JP's special brand of torture!

No diet here....just some common sense. In order to live to your full potential and support your exercise you need to eat food that is GOOD FOR YOU. We all know what that is. Stay away from sugar. Eat lean meats and LOTS of vegetables. Whole grains. Good fats. Eat every few hours, small portions.
