Meet report

It has been so nice to take the workouts (and recovery) outside!

WNPF meet report:

 All of the Wadsworth Fitness/Crossfit Geneseo lifters had a great day!. Courtney took 1st place in age/weight class and Best Female Lifter with a 290# squat, 150# bench and 350# DL! Katie (first meet) took 2nd place in her division and PR'd all 3 lifts. Karen took first in her division and while she was a little disappointed in her lifts she overcame meet nervousness and is excited about her next meet. Casey took first in his division, got robbed by the judges on his 2nd DL attempt, but nonetheless broke some new ground.

I am so proud of all of them!! I couldn't lift due to this elbow snarkiness, and while I missed the lifting it was really nice to take pictures and just be the coach!

WNPF Meet tomorrow!

Katie, Casey, Karen and Courtney are competing tomorrow! The meet is at the Staybridge Inn, 1000 Genesee St. Rochester (across the river from the Uof R) Lifting starts at 10:15! $8 admission. Stop by and watch some serious lifting! I'll be there all day!

A bit of an early heads up: As most of you know, my daughter Laura is getting married on June 29. I am going to need to take the week before the wedding off. I am trying to arrange coverage with other trainers. As the details become more clear I will share them with you!

So yeah, come prepared to play outside now.

We are having a Happy Hour/Crossfit Century on Friday, April 12 at 7:00PM. All are welcome! As always, if you want to attempt a century you must have a designated driver and/or arrangements to spend the night here!

Katie, Karen, Casey, and Courtney are competing in a WNPF Power Lifting meet on Sunday April 21 in Rochester. Due to elbow issues I will be attending as a coach/photographer. Anyone who wants to come with, let me know. Power lifting meets are actually pretty fun to watch!

As the weather improves, please come prepared to play outside! I've ordered a set of Highland Games throwing implements. Can hardly wait to play with them! I walked over to the airport today, and our road is in top notch running shape!
